Patulin is a harmful mycotoxin commonly found in commercial fruit juices and apple products. For juice producers, identifying and preventing patulin contamination in the supply chain and production process is key to brand protection, regulatory compliance, preventing costly product recalls and ensuring consumer confidence.

Eurofins Abraxis has developed a rapid ELISA test kit for detecting and measuring patulin in products such as apple juice, apple cider, apple sauce and orange juice. The kits provide results within a few hours and are simple to operate, quantitative and sensitive to within a limit of detection that meets most global regulatory requirements.

Webinar topics:

• Patulin contamination in fruits
• Regulations and recalls
• Applications
